Anthropic said Oct. 2 it is committing $100 million to Claude Frontier Academy, a program intended to train 10,000 Frontier Deployed Engineers by the end of 2027. The first cohorts include engineers from Accenture, Bain, Capgemini, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Deloitte, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley and Novo Nordisk. Participants begin with a practical enterprise-deployment course and then undertake a 12-week residency leading a real AI use case at their own organization; credentialing follows assessment. Anthropic says enrollment is by organizational nomination, so this is not a public, open-enrollment training offer. The announcement highlights a growing workforce issue: companies need people who can move AI projects through security review and into working systems.
