Latino registered voters report greater engagement with the 2026 midterms than at a similar point before the 2022 election, according to a new Pew Research Center survey. In a survey of 5,062 U.S. adults, including 774 Hispanic registered voters, fielded Sept. 28 through Oct. 4 in English and Spanish, 53% of Latino voters said they were extremely motivated to vote, compared with 41% in 2022. The economy remains their top issue, while concern about gas costs and unemployment has increased. The national poll also shows a 51%-24% Democratic advantage among Latino registered voters in the House race. Those are survey responses, not a forecast of who will vote or win.
